Welcome to the website of High Horses!
High Horses are a folk/rock trio from Birmingham and their music is a family affair.
Song writer and singer Simon Heath is younger brother of Adam Heath who plays mandolin on stage and drums on recordings. Matt Povey is cousin to the Heaths; he shares the song writing and singing with Simon. Each having distinct voices, their vocals have a real emphasis on harmony and soulfulness whilst Adam's haunting mandolin and energy galvanizes the two singers and completes the unique sound of the band.
High Horses have been playing gigs around the Midlands since Spring 2011 and are currently recording their EP with Michael Clarke of 1581 Productions - based in the Jewellery Quarter.
